Town Ladies play in the 1st Division of the West Riding Womens Football League, home games are Sunday afternnons at Ingfield, 2pm kick off. Open Age football is for Ladies over 16 years of age (no upper limit!).

Ossett Town Ladies team is made up of girls from Ossett, Horbury and Wakefield areas.  

Having been together since the age of 12 and having gone through the age groups, they entered the Open Age Section of the West Riding Girls Football League for the first time in season 2004/5.

2003/4 was their most successful season (under 17’s) and saw them winning the League Shield beating Lepton Highlanders in the final.

To strengthen the squad and ensure the continued success of the club we would like to invite interested players from age 15 upwards to join us.  Players who are 16 or over on the 1st of September 2007 are eligible to play but younger players can train with the squad to prepare for playing in future seasons.  Note: there is no upper age limit.

Winter training is at the Ossett Town Ground (Ingfield – opposite Ossett Bus Station) and in the summer at Springmill on Mondays from 6pm until 7pm.

Interested players can simply come along, speak to the coaches and try a session or contact one of them before-hand and have a chat.
